I agree, the stories we tell each other and ourselves help form the world we live in. With the world as it is now, we need these more than ever. Every contact we have with another, even in this medium, can give the strength to continue another day. Fight on.

Thanks--when I get maudlin, I also get poetic, and that can oscillate wildly between good and horrific. This bit was from the heart, though, and I liked writing it.
